TNS Network is a collection of podcasts creating content across video games, movies, television, comics, and more. Power Up And Game is a weekly video game news podcast covering some of the most trending stories in the gaming industry. With Nerds Talk Movies, another weekly podcast, our “experts” review a new movie or TV series every week via our Retrospectives and Spoiler Talks. We also have semi-regular content such as Longbox Hunters, where two longtime friends and lifelong nerds talk about all things comics. Each episode (or issue) will cover what they’ve been reading recently before moving on to whatever that edition’s topic may be, with plenty of room for discussion, discourse, and even the occasional special guest to keep things fresh. From story arc analysis to character history deep dives and debates over widely contested comic book plot points and hot topics, Tristan and Drew cover everything in between all while bringing their trademark wit and enthusiasm that listeners of Nerds Talk Movies know and love. Finally, there is Clash At The Stash. This is a competition series featuring those of us at TNS Network and other fantastic content creators where we all debate over various nerd culture topics. Some episodes contain very straightforward topics and others may require contestants to be a bit more creative.

Our Most Anticipated Games Of 2022/2023 - The Nerd Stash Show
Tuesday Jan 11, 2022
Tuesday Jan 11, 2022
We at TNS Network are officially back from our holiday break and ready to talk about some video games.
To kick off our year, we spent an episode discussing our most anticipated games of 2022 and potentially 2023. Because, of course, there are a lot of huge games that get delayed every year.
So, for the sake of clarity, not all of our games are or will be “confirmed” for 2022. Instead, we just selected games that we can’t wait to play that also have a semi-realistic chance of actually dropping this year.
(Note: After this episode, we looked it up and now know that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is actually scheduled to release in 2023.)
If you liked what you heard, we drop new episodes of this podcast every Monday.
Also, if you have the time and enjoy our show, please consider subscribing or just leave us a rating. It helps us out tremendously as we try to grow this community.

This week on Nerds Talk Movies, we’re hosting yet another installment of Clash at the Stash.
Clash at the Stash is a ridiculously dumb collaboration series from those of us at TNS Network where two competitors would debate over two nerd culture topics and make a case on why their pick is better.
At the end of each installment, our judge determines the winner based on what was said and how entertaining the competitors were.
You can see examples of our older (written) installments here.
On this installment of Clash at the Stash, we’re doing things a little differently.
Instead of debating over established topics, we put ourselves into the hypothetical shoes of a Hollywood screenwriter who is tasked with giving a DC exec one hell of a movie or series idea.
And before we wrap up, it’s important to note that this series is just meant for entertainment purposes only. After all, we’re just a bunch of idiots talking into microphones. So, if you want to bash our ideas (respectfully), throw out some compliments, or share your own pitch, we’d love to hear from you in the comments!

Daredevil Season 2 Retrospective - Nerds Talk Movies #63
Friday Nov 05, 2021
Friday Nov 05, 2021
(This podcast episode contains MAJOR SPOILERS for Daredevil Season 2)
This week on Nerds Talk Movies, we are continuing our Daredevil Retrospective tour with the show’s second season.
Daredevil Season 2 was released on March 18th, 2016 and generally, audiences probably consider it to be the worst season in the series.
To be fair, it seems that the majority of people still really liked the season. They just believed it was weaker compared to Seasons 1 and 3. The mixed feelings from audiences really stemmed from the two major arcs during the season.
Daredevil Season 2 would kick off with The Punisher’s rampage in Hell’s Kitchen, which was a bonafide hit amongst critics and audiences. Why? Well, the most obvious reason was Jon Bernthal’s incredible performance as Frank Castle
The second half of the season focused on The Hand organization and Matt Murdock’s ex-girlfriend/vigilante, Elektra.
Although it seemed like everyone enjoyed Elodie Yung as Elektra, the general consensus is that her character was simply involved in a dull storyline with the Black Sky and The Hand.
So, what did we think of the season? Tune in to hear our thoughts!

Daredevil Season 1 Retrospective - Nerds Talk Movies #62
Friday Oct 29, 2021
Friday Oct 29, 2021
Long before the days of Disney+ shows like WandaVision, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, and Loki, we had the Marvel Netflix universe.
In 2015, Netflix would release its first Marvel series, Daredevil.
Daredevil kicked off its first season as an immediate and massive success. Critics and fans alike praised Vincent D’Onofrio’s complex take on Wilson Fisk and Charlie Cox as the Man Without Fear AKA Daredevil.
Many people also loved the show’s darker tone and vicious action sequences. In particular, the notorious hallway fight.
This week on Nerds Talk Movies, we take a deep dive into Daredevil Season 1 to see what worked, what didn’t, why so many people loved the series out of the gate, and just so much more.
We do apologize because this is a pretty long episode and there is some rambling from time to time. But, it was still a fun conversation nonetheless. And don’t worry, we’ll get it tightened up for future Retrospectives.
